Welcome to the

Phoenix Players.

The Phoenix Players have been running for approximately 25 years formed from the 'ashes' of the St. Thomas Light Operatic Society (hence the name).

We generally perform two shows a year the winter show being a pantomime and the summer show a musical. Generally we try to perform lesser known and different musical shows to ensure all members can contribute to the shows.

In the past the group has produced shows such as The Biograph Girl, Honk, Jack the Ripper, Godspell and Personals. We were also the first society to perform some shows which were lesser-known such as Slice of Saturday Night, Dames at Sea and last but certainly not least Chicago which still continues it's record breaking run in London's West End.

We are a small friendly society who welcome all new members of all abilities. The aim of the group is to rehearse and perform dramatic shows whilst having fun.

Our next show will be
